The Process

How TAJDEED certifies a phone.

A fixed, auditable process from diagnostic to certificate. Every step is logged. Nothing is negotiable.

Step by step

From drop-off to certified device.

01
Step 01

Bring it to a certified shop

Only TAJDEED-approved partners have the diagnostic tools and trained technicians to run a valid certification. The shop submits the device for a full audit.

The device is logged into our system under its serial number. No data is modified, only recorded.
02
Step 02

60+ technical tests are run

Every test category is checked: display, cameras, battery, sensors, connectivity, software, and cosmetic condition. Each result is logged against the device's serial number.

Tests run in a fixed protocol and cannot be skipped. The technician cannot influence individual test outcomes.
03
Step 03

The system assigns a grade

Based solely on the diagnostic data, the system assigns Gold or Silver. The technician does not choose the grade.

Every certified phone passes all 60+ tests, without exception. Battery health is what sets the grade: Gold from 85% up, Silver just below. Under the Silver threshold, the phone is not certified at all.
04
Step 04

Certificate is published

A unique certificate ID and QR code are issued immediately. The certificate is publicly accessible: anyone can verify it by ID or by scanning the code.

The certificate is immutable. Once issued, it cannot be modified, and any tampering is detectable.
05
Step 05

You buy with full clarity

Before any money changes hands, you can see every test result, the assigned grade, and the exact warranty terms on the certificate.

The warranty runs from the date of purchase, not the certification date, and is valid at any TAJDEED-authorized repair shop nationwide.

60+ Tests

Everything gets checked.

The protocol is fixed. Every device goes through every category. No exceptions, no shortcuts.

Identity & authenticity

6 checks in this category

  • Brand, model and serial number
  • IMEI validated by Luhn checksum
  • Second IMEI and dual SIM
  • SIM slots and eSIM support
  • FRP lock and Google account
  • Build fingerprint (modified ROM detection)

Perceptual checks (audio quality, photo sharpness, dead pixels, touch feel) cannot be automated and remain a visual assessment in store.

Certification Grades

Two grades. All data-driven.

The technician runs the tests. The system decides the grade. Neither shop nor seller can influence the result.

A single criterion separates the two grades: battery health. Everything else is identical, because a phone that fails a test is not certified at all.
